I think my absolute favourite pass-time is thrifting!! I adore being in an opportunity/thrift store or garage/yard sale that is packed to the rafters with shelf after shelf of jumbled up stuff. Picking through it until I find at least one bargain buy (if not several armloads) is better than being let loose in a chocolate factory (although that would be fun too).
I keep lots of my 'finds' and help the others find new loving homes to live in. I buy all sorts of things, from antique through to pre-loved modern but anything from the 1950's through to the 1970's is what I'm most passionate about! I get very excited if it's orange and even more if it is orange and plastic!
